Data sources

Federal tax figures come from IRS publications (currently Rev. Proc. 2025-32 for tax year 2026). State tax figures come from state revenue department websites; where verification is still in progress, the page says so. Health formulas cite their original published sources. Pages that rely on external data state its basis and when it was last checked.

Update cadence

Rate-sensitive pages show a "Last updated" date. Tax data is updated as new IRS and state releases become available (the IRS release typically lands in November). When a state has not yet published current-year tables, the page notes which year's figures it uses.

Corrections

If you find an error, contact us — verified corrections are applied promptly.

What we don't do
